The Tour de France in London
The Tour de France is coming to London!
The Tour de France, the world's largest annual sporting event, is taking place in London on Monday 7 July 2014.
It'd be a great occasion to enjoy in London's streets all the world’s greatest cyclists will compete for the famous Yellow Jersey.
On Saturday 5 July, Stage 1, the Tour will start its three-day visit to Britain in Yorkshire.
On day two, Stage 2, riders will go from York to Sheffield. And the last day, Stage 3, the route will start in Cambridge city centre and the race runs between Cambridge and London.
In London, once past the Tower of London, the final kilometres of the route will take them alongside the Thames towards Victoria Embankment before riding past the Houses of Parliament, around St James's Park and finishing, with Buckingham Palace as a backdrop, on the Mall at around 15:30* (estimated times for cyclists).
You can see below the map of the route. In Come2England we are so happy because the race is going to take place just in front of our office! On 7 July we will give all our support to the cyclists, and you, are you coming? In that case, contact us we can provide you the best accommodation!
